This week I had began to work on my exchange pins. These pins are handed to other exchange students that I meet and when I hand one they hand one back in return. The pins have to represent our home country so that others now where we are from. When I had first heard about the pins couple months earlier I was excited. I thought that it was really neat to have someone wearing one of my pins and going to different places where others could see it as well. As I began to work on the pins on Sunday I really had no clue as to what I was going to make. I went to the store and looked around. I wanted to make pins homemade and cute. When at the store (Joann) there were so many different items and many were cute! Different ideas were going through my head. I had thought that I would come up with something while being in the store but I could not. Remembering what other exchange student pins looked like, I was lacking the confidence. I wanted people to look at mine and say, "That's cute!". When I see other exchange student pins I am really mesmerized. Some are extremely beautiful and others have such cuteness. I enjoy things that are cute, so I thought that my pins should be cute as well. Coming up with an idea of what to do was harder than I thought. I couldn't think of an idea I would stick to. Sunday afternoon I had decided to ask my mother for help. I am so thankful for my mother. She came up with an idea that was both simple and cute. We currently have about 10 done. Only 490 left to go...hehe. Well what can I say? Good luck to me and all other exchange students who are also working on their exchange pins! Thank you. I will upload a picture of the pins later.
